- Total Post Allocation: 323 Vacancies (Nationwide across all regional RRBs).
- Pay Matrix Level: Level 5 (As per the 7th Central Pay Commission).
- Base Pay Scale: ₹29,200 to ₹92,300 (Initial starting basic pay is ₹29,200).
3. Comprehensive Educational Qualification
- Option A (Science Stream): Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Instrumentation from a recognized university.
- Option B (Diploma Holders): 3-year Regular Diploma in Engineering in the fields of Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, IT, Instrumentation, or any combination of these basic streams.
- Option C (Degree Holders): B.E. or B.Tech in the relevant engineering disciplines listed above.
- Important Clause: Candidates whose final year results are awaited as of the closing date of application are not eligible to apply.
4. Age Limit & Relaxation Rules
- Standard Age Criteria: 18 to 33 Years (Calculated as on 1st July 2026).
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Upper age relaxation of 3 Years (Up to 36 years).
- SC / ST Candidates: Upper age relaxation of 5 Years (Up to 38 years).
- PwBD (Unreserved Category): Upper age relaxation of 10 Years (Up to 43 years).
- Ex-Servicemen: Duration of military service rendered plus 3 additional years.
