Namo Lakshmi Yojana 2026: Online Apply, Eligibility & Registration
The Namo Lakshmi Yojana, implemented by the Education Department of the Gujarat Government, is a flagship scholarship scheme designed to empower girl students and prevent them from dropping out of school. Under this initiative, eligible girls studying in Classes 9 to 12 receive a total financial assistance of ₹50,000 over four years. The scholarship is distributed in phases: ₹10,000 per year during Classes 9 and 10, and ₹15,000 per year during Classes 11 and 12. The funds are transferred directly into the student’s or guardian’s Aadhaar-linked bank account via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). To qualify, applicants must be enrolled in a government, grant-in-aid, or private secondary/higher secondary school in Gujarat, and their annual family income must be ₹6,00,000 or less.
