Namo Saraswati Vigyan Sadhana Yojana 2026: Eligibility, Benefits & Application

The Namo Saraswati Vigyan Sadhana Yojana, launched by the Education Department of the Gujarat Government, is a scholarship initiative designed to encourage students to pursue and complete their Class 11 and 12 education in the Science stream. The scheme provides a total financial assistance of ₹25,000 over two years, distributed as monthly stipends of ₹1,000 during the academic year, with a final incentive of ₹5,000 awarded upon successfully passing the Class 12 board exams. The financial assistance is disbursed directly into the mother’s bank account via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). To be eligible, students must have scored 50% or more in their Class 10 board examinations and be enrolled in the science stream at a recognized government, grant-in-aid, or self-financed school (GSHSEB or CBSE). For students attending self-financed schools, the annual family income must not exceed ₹6,00,000.
